Treatment Room and Blood Taking Service

Elaine Laidlaw and Elaine Inglis are the treatment nurses. The treatment room runs an appointment system through its own reception, though emergencies can be seen. These nurses deal with minor injuries, wounds, skin ulcers and injections. The phlebotomist provides a blood taking clinic. To make an appointment telephone 0131 537 9945 between 8.30am and 1.30pm.

District Nursing Team

Alan Cummings, Gillian Taylor, and the rest of the team provide nursing and health care in the community, normally in the patient’s own home. Referrals are made by your GP. To contact the district nurse telephone 0131 537 9901.

Health Visiting Team

Alison Anderson, Fiona Stuart and Louise Ferguson. Our health visitors are qualified nurses who specialise in community health, caring for people of all ages, though they usually focus on families with pre-school children. Community Midwifery Team
