Marion Nicholson is the Practice Nurse Manager and leads the Practice Nurse and Healthcare Assistant team. Our practice nurses are able to give advice on diet, weight loss, exercise, help with stopping smoking, asthma care, blood pressure monitoring, travel advice and immunisations. They carry out cervical smears and advise on family planning, emergency contraception (the “morning after pill”), pregnancy testing and HRT. Sheila takes a lead in running our Heart and Blood Pressure Clinics and  Diabetes Clinics. Sheila is also able to see patients with minor illnesses such as sore throats, coughs, colds, urine infections, etc.
