Changes to Gabapentin and Pregabalin Prescriptions

Changes to the law surrounding the supply of medicines coming into force from 1 April 2019 mean that prescriptions for Gabapentin and Pregabalin will be more tightly controlled.

The practice may have to reduce the supply on prescription to 28 days to comply with the law.

You will need to request a prescription every 28 days.
