Remember to order your repeat prescriptions ahead of the Jubilee Public Holiday

Please remember to order your repeat medications ahead of the Jubilee public holiday weekend! NHS 24 or 111 do not issue methadone or similar substitution medication so please remember to contact your surgery in plenty of time so you can collect your script before the practice closed for the long weekend.

Practice will be closed on Jubilee 3rd June

The practice will be closed on Friday 3rd June for the Jubilee Public Holiday. Please remember to re-order your repeat medication in plenty of time.

If you need urgent medical advice when we are closed, please phone NHS24 on 111.

Ordering

Please send your name, date of birth, address and details of your request to us. You can do this by:

Please note that due to high demand, we need advance notice to process repeat medication requests and the turnaround time is five working days and seven days for new requests.

Collecting

It will take at least five working days (e.g. not weekends and bank holidays) after you have submitted your repeat request and seven days for new requests before your prescription is ready to collect.

If you send us a stamped addressed envelope we can send your prescriptions direct to you.

Most of our prescriptions are delivered straight to a pharmacy unless you would prefer to collect your prearranged prescription from our reception desk. You must indicate if you would like to collect your prescription to our team and GPs. Also, please make sure you let us know which pharmacy you would like us to send your prescription to, to avoid confusion and delay.

Medication Reviews

Please check your repeat prescription slip for your reminder to book an appointment to review any long term medications.

Hospital Discharge

If you have attended a hospital clinic or been discharged from hospital you will usually be given enough medication for seven days.
