The new data protection regulations come into effect on 25 May 2018 called GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), replacing the Data Protection Act 1998.

 

At Dalhousie Medical Practice your trust is important to us, so we want you to know we've updated our Privacy Notice to explain how we collect, store and handle your personal data. You can view details of our Privacy Notice below.

 

You have many rights regarding your personal data, including seeing what data we access, and updating your information.

 

We wish to continue to send text messages to patients to remind them of their scheduled appointments, and to invite patients in for health screening (e.g. seasonal flu vaccination). If you wish to receive a text from the Practice, please notify a member of the reception team and ensure we have your correct mobile phone number. You can opt out of this service at any time.
